Description: In Rise, you start up at the dawn of humanity as your people fend for themselves in a dangerous primeval world. They are weak and few but manage to survive thanks to their superior intelligence. Scavenging and gathering while avoiding dangerous predators. Until one day, maybe by accident, comes the genius idea of crafting rudimentary tools. Tools to build better, gather better... kill better. Suddenly you are the alpha predator, you hunt that which once hunted you. And feast! Your people grows and survival is slowly replaced by life in community. New inventions keep being introduced. Wild animals are tamed, edible plants are grown. New villages are settled. But peace never last... In time, strangers are seen in the horizon and they carry strange new weapons, they shine in the sunlight and bite like the ancient beasts your ancestors feared so much. The strangers Burn your villages and take your people prisoner. Few escape. They will not be caught off-guard again. Homes are rebuilt, walls are raised, and you prepare to fight your own kind... You rise again and must reach a decision. Are you hunter or prey?
