1. Introduction
RustedWarfare IDE Studio (“the App”) is an integrated development environment designed for Rusted Warfare mod creation, map development, asset editing, content packaging, and syntax-aware project management. The App includes a wide range of specialized tools such as image editing, pixel art editing, map editing, animation editing, audio editing, text and code editing, AI-assisted development, and a custom language system for recognizing and interpreting file syntax used in modding workflows.
We value your privacy and aim to collect, use, and retain information only as needed to provide the App’s features, maintain security, improve stability, and support your work.
2. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy covers information processed through:
- The RustedWarfare IDE Studio application itself.
- Built-in editors, assistants, language tools, and packaging functions.
- Local project storage, settings, templates, previews, and exports.
- IniHub, community resource access, and automatic resource packaging features.
3. Information We May Process
Depending on how you use the App, the following categories of information may be processed:
- Project and user content. Files, folders, scripts, templates, code, images, audio, animations, maps, metadata, and other content you open, create, modify, import, or export.
- Editing preferences. Theme selections, UI layout, editor settings, recent files, autosave preferences, language preferences, and tool configurations.
- Technical information. Device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, diagnostic events, memory usage, performance data, and compatibility details, if such information is collected to keep the App working properly.
- AI interaction data. Prompts, commands, selected files, excerpts of text, or other content submitted to the built-in AI assistant for analysis, generation, or validation.
- Community and repository data. Content retrieved from or submitted to IniHub, including templates, help resources, code snippets, community examples, or other shared modding materials.
- Packaging and build data. Resource references, dependency information, manifest-like entries, and asset lists used when the App automatically packages resources.
4. How We Use Information
Information processed by the App may be used for the following purposes:
- To provide the core IDE experience for Rusted Warfare mod and map development.
- To open, edit, preview, validate, organize, and export supported files and assets.
- To power multiple editors such as image, pixel art, map, animation, audio, and text/code editors.
- To detect syntax, structure, and formatting rules in supported file types.
- To generate suggestions, completions, help text, or content through AI features.
- To fetch templates, examples, guides, and community content through IniHub.
- To automatically package required resources when a project uses that feature.
- To remember your settings and improve your workflow.
- To troubleshoot issues, analyze crashes, and improve performance and reliability.
5. Built-In Tools and Functional Areas
RustedWarfare IDE Studio may include, among other things:
- Image Editor
- Pixel Art Editor
- Map Editor
- Animation Editor
- Audio Editor
- Code Editor / Text Editor
- Syntax Analyzer / Language Support System
- AI Assistant
- IniHub Repository Center
- Automatic Resource Packaging System
- Project Templates and Community Help Center
Each editor processes only the data necessary for the function you actively use. For example, the audio editor works with audio assets, the image editor works with visual assets, and the syntax system works with supported project files and modding structures.
6. IniHub
IniHub is a built-in repository center that may allow users to obtain templates, community help, examples, code snippets, shared resources, and other development aids related to Rusted Warfare modding. When you use IniHub, the App may process your requests, selected resources, download actions, search terms, and related metadata necessary to provide repository functionality.
Resources obtained through IniHub may be stored locally on your device, referenced in your project workspace, or used as part of your development environment. If you choose to publish, share, or import content from community sources, you are responsible for reviewing the content and ensuring that it is appropriate for your project.
7. Automatic Resource Packaging
The App may automatically package resources when a project requires it. This can include compiling or organizing selected assets, generated files, templates, textures, audio, scripts, and metadata so that the project can be exported or used correctly.
When automatic packaging is enabled or used, the App may analyze which files are required, create dependency references, and assemble an output package or archive according to project rules. Packaging generally occurs to support your workflow and may be performed locally on your device unless the feature explicitly requires external processing.
8. AI Features
The App includes AI functionality that may assist with coding, project structure, asset suggestions, syntax interpretation, file organization, and content generation. Depending on the implementation, AI processing may happen locally on your device or via a service needed to provide the feature.
When you use AI features, the App may process prompts, selected files, text fragments, or other materials you intentionally provide. You should avoid sending sensitive personal information unless you are comfortable with how that information will be handled.
9. Storage, Local Data, and Saving
The App may store certain information locally, such as:
- Recent files and projects
- Editor layout and preferences
- Templates, caches, previews, and temporary data
- Locally saved project content and exported packages
Local storage is used to improve convenience and allow the App to function efficiently. You can usually remove local data by clearing app storage or deleting project files through your device or app tools.
10. Permissions and Device Access
Depending on the features you use, the App may request access to files, storage, media, audio, images, or other system resources. These permissions are used only when necessary for the related feature. Some capabilities may not work properly if permissions are disabled.
11. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared only in limited situations, including:
- When you choose to export, upload, import, or share a file, package, or project.
- With service providers that help operate app functionality, such as AI services, crash reporting, analytics, or hosting infrastructure if applicable.
- To comply with applicable law, legal process, or enforceable government requests.
- To protect the rights, property, safety, security, or integrity of users, the App, or others.
12. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate third-party services for AI processing, analytics, crash diagnostics, repository access, cloud storage, content delivery, or related capabilities. Those services may collect or process information under their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage you to review those policies when third-party services are used.
13. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the App’s features, maintain your settings, support your workflow, resolve issues, comply with legal obligations, or protect legitimate business interests. Local project files remain under your control on your device unless you choose to share or export them elsewhere.
14. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by the App. However, no digital system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.
15. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to consent to data processing without parental approval. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate action.
16. Your Choices and Controls
Depending on your device and the features enabled, you may be able to:
- Clear local app data, caches, or project files.
- Disable permissions such as storage or media access.
- Turn off or avoid AI-assisted features.
- Stop using IniHub if you do not want repository or community content.
- Remove templates, assets, or packages that you no longer need.
17. International Use
If you access the App from outside the country where the developer is based, your information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws. By using the App, you understand that information may be handled where the App’s services, device processing, or third-party providers are located.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, its tools, legal requirements, or operational practices. When we do, the revised version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
